In many cases I want to check whether the attacker on an ~onDamaged trigger is close or far away.
There's no clear-cut way to check this when multiple players are attacking a single mob. (playerwithin can be fooled because many players are attacking, and the attacker is not necessarily the target when using threattables)
Such a condition would be useful in many ways
