Clearable Dungeons

Hello,

This is my first thread here, and I don't know if this has been asked before. So, I would like to know how it might be done to create a dungeon that activates when a player enters it. Then, when they hit, break, or touch a certain object (or used it) the spawners all shut down. Now I know that I can set a command item to teleport a player, or to kill off all monsters in an area. I'm assuming I could do it with command blocks and items, but I would like to know where to start.

Hi im trying to make a zombie that explodes on death and summons multiple baby zombies. Everything is working except for the explosion effect. This is the setup:

Skills:
- explosion{yield=0.2}
- effect:explosion @Self
- summon{type=BABY_ZOMBIE;amount=5}

Any help would be greatly appreciated

How to make hidden NBT strings in MM items?

I'm trying to add a hidden NBT string to my MM items for upgrades. There's a /upgrade command that takes the item you have, removes it, and runs the command to give you the next one. It's an alright process, but we have to upgrade the script each time we add items that can be upgraded or change names for streamlining. I'm wondering if we can add a normally unreadable NBT string to help the script read from a YAML file instead of putting the item names in the command sequence.

Hi,
we are using this skill:
Code:
EruptTargetLocationDamage2:
  Cooldown: 0.25
  Skills:
  - delay 1
  - damage{a=2;i=true} @PlayersInRadius{r=80}
But only one player is damaged when using it, not all players in the given radius.

Using MM 2.4.5 on spigot 1.8.8 latest.

  • mobs cannot equip items via equipment field
  • neither can they equip items via equip-mechanic (both variants generate NPEs)
  • items cannot be given via /mm i get/give (throws this:

The ADD mechanic for randomspawns doesnt seem to work for me, tried changing it to REPLACE and it worked. Any idea what might be causing the problem?

So you use plugins like custom enchantments and stuff to make some really cool items but you can't make your mythic mobs drop them because the plugin only allows you to make items in the config. What I suggest is the ability to be able to create mythicmobs items ingame and do a command like /mm items create (name) while holding the item you want to become a mythicmobs item in your hand then it will be created and you can set it as a drop or equipped item for a mythicmob in config.

Just a thought...
And obviously its easier said than done because I'm sure it would take a lot of work, but..
The MythicMob Creator Jocke155 so amazingly created and generously shared with us is such a useful program that has helped so much with creating my mobs and learning about all the different types and options there are for doing so.

It would be amazing if there were a similar program but for creating skills! There are so many options and little things I didn't know about until I saw...

It'd be fantastic to get a location target that returned the block/location a mob was facing.
This would be useful for a number of things, including projectile skills, since it would allow for easy target-less projectile behaviour, such as beams and attacks that follow where the mob is facing.
Such examples include lasers that follow the mob as it spins, or be used in combination with the @Line targeter to create a row of explosions where the mob is facing.

Hey,

I´m currently looking for somebody to create the fire Boss from the preview video for me. It should look pretty similar and have some cool area effects (for example casting a fire circle that moves outwards from the middle of the Boss) If the mob looks good I will probably purchase 2 or 3 other mobs aswell.

I will of course pay for the mob!

Hey Guys :),

I´m playing around with Mythicmobs atm but I always get the same problem over and over. The mobs I created so far move around in the room or move to the corners and look at the wall. I want them to stay in the middle of the room until they get attacked.

How can I do that?

Mob that changes skin based on player?

Have an idea here that I'm not sure will work...

Is there any possible way for a mob (disguised as a player) to have some sort of skill that changes its skin to match the player's skin specifically?

For example, say you logged into the server and saw the mob standing right in front of you, disguised as you... with your skin...not sure if this is even possible

Love to hear your thoughts!
